Understanding BCR-ABL PCR, QUANTITATIVE
BCR-ABL is an abnormal gene formed by a chromosome swap, and it is the driving defect in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). The quantitative PCR test counts how much of this gene's message is present in a blood sample, expressed as a precise percentage on an international scale.
