2 mL (1 mL min.) serum from 1 SST. Separate serum within 3 hours of collection in a plastic transport vial and freeze. Ship frozen. DO NOT THAW. Wrap in aluminium foil to protect from light. Avoid vitamin supplements & fruits 24 hours prior to sample collection. Overnight fasting is preferred.
