4 mL ( 2 mL min.) whole blood from 1 metal free Royal Blue Top (K2EDTA) tube available from LPL. Patient should avoid eating seafood, herbal supplements, mineral supplements, vitamin B12 or vitamin B complex for 3 days prior to specimen collection. Ship refrigerated. DO NOT FREEZE. Use powderless gloves during specimen collection.
